Our latest obsession. Made up succulent plants and cacti, these tiny gardens are low maintenance and take up virtually no space. Who wouldn't love a miniature oasis?

Since Valentine's Day is only a month (and a day) away, we decided to bring out the decorations. We cheated a bit and left up the Christmas lights, but they tie in nicely with our theme.

(Oh, and we don't mind Friday the 13th. We actually find it to be a pretty lucky day.)

2011: a year in review

During the Christmas rush, it was brought to our attention that we were featured twice on The Flower Shop Network's blog. It was an honor to see one of our winter arrangements and our holiday decorations receiving praise. Even though we just got back to work, it's already time to take down the Christmas lights and start getting ready for Valentine's Day. It seems too early to pull out the pink and red hearts but in reality, it's only about 6 weeks away. And since there's a lull right now, I've taken to scouring the internet for inspiration.

For now, here are some of our favorite wedding designs of 2011. Thank you to all of our beautiful brides for helping to make last year a success!

We (well I) have decided to revamp the blog for the new year. My resolution is to post at least twice a week, not only updating on events taking place at the shop, but what inspires our gorgeous, unique floral designs. Here's too a happy, healthy and successful 2012!
